Quite Incredible (11/1, having been backed at bigger prices before racing) was a 16-race maiden going into the Davidson McDonnell Handicap Hurdle but got the job done under Paddy O'Brien.
The Shirocco gelding headed Dinoland after the last and was kept up to his work to fend off that one by half a length.
The eight-year-old is owned by Tara and Paul Giles-Fahey and Sheila Mangan.
Winning trainer Dermot McLoughlin remarked: "He stayed at it well. He (O'Brien) said he travelled well and finished out the race well.
"Better ground and cheekpieces combination. He was running over the winter and a lot of mine like nice ground. "Paddy's 7lb (claim) is a good seven and it worked out well."
