Her sire Jeremy enjoyed a little ease in the ground when racing in the colours of Mrs Betty Maxwell Moran and his daughter Princess Sinead who also races in those Grand National winning silks of Papillon, sluiced through the yielding to soft ground at the Curragh to convincingly land the Aer Arann European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden under Fran Berry.

Making all, the daughter of the Irish National Stud-based stallion, had all of her rivals covered from a furlong out on the way to a three length defeat of the promising newcomer Redoubtable. The well-backed Rigoletta (5/2 into 6/4) had to settle for third.

Jessica Harrington trains Princess Sinead and she said: "I'm delighted. The extra furlong helped and maybe the ease in the ground.

"She ran twice at six furlongs and was always coming home at Naas. Fran was delighted with her and the owner who has Laughing Lashes with me, sent me this filly after that one had won.

"We'll see how she comes out of this. She's very big and it is surprising she's running so well so early. She'll have a Moyglare entry and maybe one more run before then."

Fran Berry said: "She deserved to get a maiden win and it's a relief to get it out of the way. She won very very easy and she has been crying out for the seven furlongs.

"The ground is dead and tacky but it is a big improvement from last night."
