Gordon Elliott completed an across the card double as Tycoon Prince (Danny Benson) captured the finale at Galway, the NUIG Raceday (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race to add to the Cullentra success achieved at Wexford with Crown Theatre
Gigginstown House Stud own Tycoon Prince and this was their second victory of the day too as Very Wood had earlier scored in the beginners chase for the County Westmeath power-house.
Tycoon Prince is obviously a lovely young prospect as he quickened well after his four horse event had turned into something of a sprint.
Previously with Pat Doyle, the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper fourth placer from the Fairyhouse Festival, got the better in the end, of the favourite, Rio Treasure by two lengths.
Bobby McNally, representing Elliott, said: "He's a fine big horse. It was a real cat and mouse type of race but he picked up well for a big horse.
"He's one to look forward to."
For Danny Benson this was a first bumper winner and his claim is down to 5Ibs now. (AM & EM)
