The Kevin Prendergast trained Rise Again caused a 16/1 upset to win the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Naas today, when improving significantly from her debut at the venue last month.
The daughter of Arcano had finished eleventh over course and distance on May 21 and following today’s success, winning jockey Chris Hayes said “she didn't really do anything the first day when she was slow away and a little bit all over the place.
“She seems to have sharpened up at home, did it nicely, and she'll have no problem getting a bit further.”
Rise Again carries the colours of former trainer Jeremy Hayden.
