Power generates big praise

Paul Nolan was rightly effusive in his praise for Robbie Power's winning ride on Big Generator in the Jog For Jockeys Handicap Chase at Wexford.
It was some compensation for Power who'd lost the Wellingtonbridge Novice Hurdle on Shield after weighing in light.
Power of course has strong Wexford connections himself and this was a real home county win as Nolan trains, Jim Mernagh owns and the well-backed 2/1 favourite carries his purple and gold livery.
Power was sympathetic on Big Generator, only asking for the maximum when it was required and his mount responded generously on the run-in to get the better of fellow course specialist Annie Other by two and a half lengths.
Nolan, earlier out of luck with Spring Awakening Behemoth and The Mooch said: "He got a marvellous ride from Robert Power. He is certainly a chap that I think is by no means at the end of his career.
“I just thought he was very good on him. If you can help him early on it’s the thing to do because he is a horse that needed to get his confidence back over fences.
"He got an awful fall one day at Naas and I just can't say enough about the ride Robbie gave him - I thought it was brilliant."
On his eight-year-old, a half-brother to Grade 1 winner, Aran Concerto, Nolan reflected: "He has been a good auld servant and that is his third win around here.
"He seems to be better going left-handed and that will do his confidence over fences the world of good. He jumped a bit left, he always does that, and he wasn't great over some of them.
"With his mark over hurdles compared to his mark over fences he was probably justifiably favourite and I'm delighted to get back to back wins with him.
"With the level of handicaps that he is at we just try and pick races for him rather than have any plan. He will mix it and he might go somewhere like Killarney." (DM & EM)
