Plot put right 27 days on
Whats The Plot and Donagh Meyler

There was to be no getting caught behind horses for Donagh Meyler this time as he landed the Audi Ballina Handicap Hurdle on Whats The Plot at Ballinrobe.
At this venue 27 days back Whats The Plot was doing his best work at the finish when fourth behind Andratx. The Alfred Nobel gelding had a troubled passage on that occasion.
Here Meyler bided his time around the top bends on the sweet-travelling 7/2 shot and when asked on the run-in he eventually delivered by three lengths from Rapid Fritz
"He should have won here the last day. He got stuck in. I would have been disappointed had he been beat today," said winning trainer Arthur Moore.
"He did it nicely and he'll mix it during the summer. He is a grand horse.
"I've minded him over the last two seasons. I think he has got a nice future. He is a half-brother to a horse who was fifth in the Derby last year (Humphrey Bogart). His grand dam was the grand dam of last year's Derby winner, so it's good blood.
"His dam is by Kahyasi and there is a lot of Kahyasi about him. Hopefully he can go on from here now, he hasn't been over raced. He should give somebody a bit of fun if I can find an owner for him.
"I think he wants a mile and a half plus on the flat. Shane (Foley) should have won on him here last year. I think he is only rated 61 so he is on a nice mark."
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Lizzies Champ trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
