Pitch gets it right
Fever Pitch proved easy to back in the five-year-old maiden hurdle at Tramore but defied his market slide to land the spoils.
Arthur Moore 's charge had been trading at 4/6 this morning but was sent off 13/8 on course.
He took up the running, under Alan Crowe, going out on the final circuit and responded well when challenged by Raggletagglegypsy to record a four-length victory.
"A winner is always pleasant. He's a nice horse and handled the good ground well," said Moore.
"We'll keep him going for a while but I'm not sure if he's a summer horse yet. He'll go chasing eventually."
