Pilgrim prevails in bunch finish
Pilgrim Dancer confirmed the promise of his debut run at the Curragh when opening his account in the two-year-old maiden at Naas.
Emmanuel Hughes' charge was always prominent under Rory Cleary and stuck his head out well in the final furlong to get home by half a length from Alfred Nobel
In a blanket finish there was only two short heads back to Love Lockdown and Stand And Fight
"He's a right horse and is massive," said Hughes.
"He's a May foal and shouldn't be doing what he's doing. We'll probably give him a break now."
