The Francis Flood trained Miss Pepperpot under Brian O’Connell, claimed a maiden chase win in the Thoroughbred County Novice Handicap Chase at Naas today.

Afterwards Fran Flood Jnr stated “the two miles race at Galway the last day brought her on a good bit but today’s race was probably a poor enough contest.”

“She jumped well, is tough and stays the trip well. She came upon an ordinary race today but lasted it out well. Her owners, the Abbey Rose Syndicate, are a great bunch and hopefully they have a good party tonight!”
