Peaceful a clearcut winner on second start

The Ballydoyle filly Peaceful (8/11 fav) came on plenty from her debut run at Leopardstown to easily defeat her ten rivals in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies’ Maiden.
She was always handy, and went on two furlongs out to draw seven lengths clear of the running-on newcomer Indian Lilac (66/1), with St Clerans (11/4) another length and a half back in third place.
She had made some late headway when ninth on that first start behind Ridenza, and this was another illustration of how much Aidan O’Brien’s juveniles can come forward after an initial outing.
"She is still very raw, said Donnacha O’Brien, and was spooking and looking at all sorts of things.
"Once I gave her a drive and a crack she quickened up really nice.
"She could be smart."
