Elusive In Paris was delivered with a well-timed effort to land the spoils in the mile handicap at Dundalk.
Niall McCullagh got a nice split to challenge on the 5/1 joint favourite inside the final furlong and he soon hit the front.
Michael Grassick 's charge stayed on well in the closing stages to record a three-parts-of-a-length victory over 20/1 shot You Got Heart
"He's improving all the time and he'll continue to improve as he's learning to race and getting stronger all the time," said Grassick.
"He's carrying those big weights well as he has a bit of size to him. I'm keen to get him on grass but the ground is no good for him at the moment."
The gamble of the race Busalla backed from 14/1 into 5/1 joint-favourite, could only finish seventh.
The race was off almost eight minutes late as a few played up at the start. 20/1 Arabela was taken out as was Pepparpot who was 7/1 and led to a 10c deduction on all winning bets.
