Paddy wins for Molloy/McCarthy
Mark Molloy's The Paddy Premium justified 7/2 favouritism when taking the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Wexford today.
Ridden by Ian McCarthy, the son of Glacial Storm, raced prominently throughout, moved through to lead four out before staying on well for a three lengths win over Tyrur Ted
Afterwards Molloy mentioned “The Paddy Premium is part owner by Mark Fleming, a Scot, who has been very patient. The horse has had foot trouble and took time to come right but my team at home have been brilliant. We'll go for another handicap again next.”
