Oxx/Kinane take last at the Curragh
Pittoni continued the good run of John Oxx and Mick Kinane when landing the concluding Animalintex Maiden at the Curragh this afternoon.
Kinane sent the Peintre Celebre colt to the front three furlongs from home and the pair kept on well for a five and a half length win over Duc De Savoie
Winning trainer Oxx said afterwards: “He’s a nice horse, he had a small bit of a setback this Summer but we got him right.”
“He loves soft ground and he’s a real decent sort. His next outing will be at the Newmarket Sales at the end of the month. He will make a lovely national hunt horse.”
