After a Naas fifth placing last evening Oor Jock bounced out fresh and well to win the Racing Again @ TipperaryRaces July 5th Handicap under champion jockey Colin Keane.
A seventh win from 123 starts was achieved for ten-year-old Oor Jock (jumped the finish line) as for owner Sean Gallagher and trainer Ado McGuinness he out-pointed Time Stands Still by just a head.
Stephen Thorne, assistant to McGuinness and winner this year of the Leads By Example Award at the Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards, said: "He's been a grand servant and has now won seven times. He's been a grand fun horse and has won over 100,000 euro.
"Our horses have been quiet for a couple of weeks but they are starting to turn a corner now. Hopefully we will have plenty of runners at Bellewstown next week."
R. Coakley, rider of Boxer Dunford trained by D P Coakley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled on the ground and shortened up his action for the last furlong.
