Onzo proves too big for rivals
Onzo Mor (5/1) opened his account over fences when taking the St Patrick's Rock Handicap Chase in fine style under Eddie O'Connell.
The grey gelding moved up ominously to challenge at the second last fence, and was in command before the last to record a seven length verdict over the long-time leader Best Of Bocelli (8/1). Calypso Queen (14/1) was third.
Winning trainer Denis Cullen said, “I'm delighted for the owners (Budi Beag Partnership) who are from Swords. I have a happy and healthy bunch of horses at the moment and long may it continue. Eddie gave him a great ride, and hopefully he'll pick up another handicap.”
