One runner one winner at Dundalk for Prescott and McDonogh

He'd had a 1/4 shot turned over earlier at Newcastle but there was no such reverse for Mark Prescott on Irish soil as his Elysees Palace (strongly supported 11/10 shot) became the fourth winning favourite in a row when taking the Dundalk Business Club.
Declan McDonogh 's only mount on the card had to work hard, but work hard he did to get the better of Saga Altais (11s into 8s) by half a length.
"I had watched his two races and he missed the break on both starts and he missed the break again tonight," said McDonogh.
"I was ready for him though. I rallied him out and he told me to box seat him and just take a trail.
"He was just doing what he had to. He's a fine big horse, a big raw shell of a horse. He doesn't even know he's a racehorse yet but I'd say there's any amount of improvement in him.
"He was on and off the bridle but I don't think the message is going through to him yet. He'll be a lovely horse even going an extra couple of furlongs."
