Following on from Chief Justice and Cecil Corbett earlier there would have been a third Gordon Elliott winner on the day had Mitchouka not fallen at the last in the finale at Gowran.
At that stage Mitchouka had the Join Our Racing Club Beginners Chase in the bag.
Davy Russell and the horse (a 2/7 chance) were quickly on their feet and okay, leaving the way clear for Oh Me Oh My (14/1).
This daughter of Winged Love captured the prize for trainer Margaret Flynn and rider Philip Enright. They beat the only other finisher in the four horse race, Redwood Castle (33/1), by forty five lengths.
"It was a bit of luck but they have to jump though," said Ms Flynn.
"She got a couple of heavy falls last year and we did a lot of schooling with her. Ian Power, the ex jockey, has been schooling her.
"We've just been trying to get her into the bottom of them and come up because when she was getting tired she was throwing herself at them. It's worked and she's had a bit of luck.
"She's been working well, I don't know how she'd have run if they'd have stayed up, but she's been working well in the last two weeks.
"We're not going to give it back anyway!
"There is a mares novice chase in Thurles at the end of the month, a black-type race, and we might go for that.
"I'm not sure about this ground but sure we took a chance."
