O´Donoghue picks up two day ban
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving the winner, Moonstone (GB), ridden by Johnny Murtagh, Ice Queen ridden by Colm O´Donoghue, placed second and Gagnoa ridden by J.A. Hefferan, placed third.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C. O´Donoghue had ridden carelessly and they therefore suspended him for two racedays (dates to be confirmed by the Turf Club).
