O'Sullivan at his best in New Orleans
The concluding race on this evening’s card saw a game winner in the Mags Mullins trained Down In Neworleans after he ran out a nine length winner.
Ross O’Sullivan who guided the Saddlers Hall gelding to victory took up the lead entering the straight and the pair forged clear inside the furlong for an easy success.
Winning trainer Mullins said afterwards: “He ran lovely race at Leopardstown last time out. It was nice to win a bumper with him as he’s a chaser in the making.”
“We’ll keep him going now, he’ll run in a hurdle race next.”
“That was Ross’ [O’Sullivan] first winner for me, JP Magnier had the choice but he went with Tom Taaffes horse.”
