O'Grady Having A Cut
The Fethard Hunters Chase was won by the Edward O'Grady trained Having A Cut ridden by John Thomas McNamara in the colours of JP McManus.
McMamara raced the Supreme Leader gelding in behind the leader, left in front when closing on leader 2 out, clear from before last, kept on well to win by 10 lengths.
O'Grady said afterwards, "If he can win another I'd be happy. I was very disappointed with him in the north the last day but I put a tongue tie on him today and that may have helped. We will probably run him again at Fairyhouse in a few weeks time and see where to go from there."
