O'Donoghue spot on Rhythm
He's Got Rhythm has been a hardy campaigner for David Marnane's long standing patron Declan Daly and he got back to winning ways in the Taxi 90 33 33 33 Race at Down Royal.
Colm O'Donoghue arrived late and fast on the six-year-old, getting to the front in the final hundred yards, seeing off Final Recovery by three parts of a length.
Marnane said: "He's a consistent horse and to be fair he has been running well all year. He needed his first couple of starts and really I'd love to get him to Chester.
"He was balloted out of there recently."
He's Got Rhythm was just touched off at Galway last year and Ballybrit is likely to be on his agenda again.
