Coldstonesober difficult to pronounce at the best of times, gained a deserved second career win and his second at Tramore, when taking the Christmas Party At Tramore Races On December 12th Beginners Chase today, completing a double for jockey Eddie O'Connell.
Winning trainer Jimmy Finn was not immediately available for comment but O'Connell, earlier successful on The Bold Becky, later stated “they didn't go a great gallop early on but he was probably entitled to win with his rating of 107. It wasn't the greatest race in the world but he kept at it well.”
Coldstonesober's only previous win came at this venue in April 2012 when defeating Passage Vendome winner of today's earlier beginners' chase.
