Dancing Noretta stayed on stoutly to claw back front-runner Boris Bike in the second division of the Ross Golf Course Handicap at Killarney.
Boris Bike looked to have made a decisive move when kicking for home early in the straight.
Fran Berry got a good tune from the Jessica Harrington-trained Dancing Noretta, however, and she chased him down inside the final furlong to secure a two-length win.
The 13/2 winner had disappointed at Leoparstown last time having previously chased home Oceania Queen at Fairyhouse.
"She ran really well on her first run back this year but then completely boiled over at Leopardstown," said Harrington.
"She is a good staying filly but I was surprised she handled the ground as well as she did as I thought she wanted good to firm.
"She'll go to Galway for a handicap next."
