Noll Wallop takes the last at the Curragh
Having made an encouraging debut when fourth to the talented Chabal, Noll Wallop opened his account with a spirited effort in the concluding Newbridge Greyhound Stadium EBF Median Auction Maiden.
Wayne Lordan had to be at his strongest to guide the High Chaparral colt to success as Is Feidir Linn closed with every stride but the winner stuck his head out to win by a shorthead on what is likely to be his last appearance of the season.
"The ground might not be in his favour so that might be hit for the season, he is a big horse and will be a nice horse next year," said trainer Tommy Stack afterwards.
