Nolan team on the mark ahead of Hennessy
Joncol #8217;s trainer Paul Nolan warmed up for his Hennessy Gold Cup bid, with Golden Sunbird s win in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown today.
Ridden by capable seven pounds claimer Mike Doran, the daughter of Bob Back won by four lengths from Kylebeg Krystle
Afterwards Nolan stated “we were very disappointed with her the last day but she jumped big, faded away and was beaten a good bit. If that was how good she was we were going to send her over fences. Today she jumped well and got a loely split turning in.”
He added “she has a lovely pedigree and is related to Alexander Banquet and Wither Or Which.”
