No ring rust for Rolly

Rolly Baby showed no signs of ring-rust as he made a winning reappearance from an 825-day absence when running out an easy winner of the geldings maiden hurdle at Thurles.
Ruby Walsh tracked the leaders on the 5/2 favourite (from 3/1) before cruising into the lead after the second last. Follow The Sign tried hard to stay with the market leader but was always fighting a losing battle.
The Willie Mullins-trained gelding scooted clear before the last and was kept going on the run-in to post a comprehensive 10-length success.
The winner had finished runner-up on his sole previous start in a Clonmel bumper in November 2010.
Mullins wasn't in the winners' enclosure to greet the gelding.
