No problems for Mag again

On a famous day for the Walsh family after his sister Katie's heroics earlier in the BoyleSports Irish Grand National, Ruby Walsh doubled his score on the programme, and now leads the jockey's championship, as Vroum Vroum Mag did as expected of a 1/4 shot, in the Grade 3 John & Chich Fowler Memorial EBF Mares Chase at Fairyhouse.
Of course it was a treble on the day for trainer Willie Mullins as he'd earlier saddled winners Buiseness Sivola (Paul Townend) and Sempre Medici (Ruby Walsh).
After Vroum Vroum Mag had come home thirteen lengths to the good from Burn And Turn Mullins said: "She was very good. She just keeps stepping up every day. Every time we up her in class she steps up.
"We'll try and find something in Punchestown for her. I don't think there is a mares races and we'll look at the novices.
"She'll also get an entry for the mares hurdle. I don't know what she's like over hurdles!
"She could go back to France also. She looks a nice prospect for next year." (GC & EM)
