Dani Theatre justified odds of 2/5 with consummate ease in the concluding bumper at Thurles.
The first foal out of Irish Cesarewitch winner Dani California, she showed promise when third on debut at Clonmel earlier this month and early morning odds of 4/5 looked good value as she was further supported on track from 4/7.
Patrick Mullins oozed confidence as the odds-on shot cruised to the front about two furlongs out, and the champion amateur hardly moved a muscle as she recorded a facile victory. Souphanouvan was greatly flattered to get within four and a quarter lengths, with Derrygereen Girl the same distance further back in third.
Winning trainer Mags Mullins said, "I bought her as a foal and her mother was smart too.
"She was a bit green at Clonmel and wants nice ground. She's a good filly and I think a lot of her and, despite being small, she should be a contender for those mares novice hurdles.
"I'm not going to tear the heart out of her in bottomless ground."
