No arguing with Missus at Ballinrobe
It was an across the card double yesterday but on Monday the Pat Flynn bandwagon rolled on to Ballinrobe to post two winners on the same card as Yes Missus followed up the success of her stable companion, Binocular an hour earlier, in the Niall Gilmartin Memorial Maiden.
Joseph O'Brien was in the saddle on Binocular but stable jockey Danny Grant was on Yes Missus and the Waterford city pilot made all on the chestnut, sending her clear from over a furlong out for a comfortable five and a half length success.
Yes Missus competes in the Eva's Request colours of Liam Mulryan. The Galway man bought Yes Missus as a foal for 30,000 Euros at Goffs in 2007. She is an Alamshar half-sister to Soul City, 2008 Parknasilla Hotel Goffs Million hero.
