- Neville has another string to his bow
Neville has another string to his bow
Curragh Grey the subject of a bit of market support this morning, put a couple of falls behind her to land the Colville Bloodstock Handicap Chase (sponsored by trainer Pat Colville) under Tom Doyle at Clonmel.
Trained by Pat Neville, who has been enjoying great success lately with Macville, Curragh Grey, twice a winner 'between the flags' and successful at Killarney in August, had Island Wood beaten when that fellow unseated rider at the last and she went on to see off Long Strand comfortably.
Neville said: "She was going well when she fell the last day (at Limerick) and she was unlucky there as she jumped into the back of another horse. She is very honest and there was nothing wrong with her jumping today.
"She handles soft ground well and she is in the Paddy Power. She'll hardly get into that and she is more likely to go to Limerick."
