Near 17/1 Naas double for Weld and Smullen
Zafayan and Pat Smullen wins from Gypsy King and Joseph O'Brien

Zafayan made it a double, following the feature race win of Tarfasha for the unstoppable combination of Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen. The Acclamation newcomer landed the Kill (C & G Maiden) at Naas.
Pat Smullen had to work on the three-year-old, obviously endowed with stamina from his Aga Khan dam-line and he found plenty in the concluding stages of the ten furlong event to beat Gypsy King (had looked a likely scorer under Joseph O'Brien) by a neck.
The well-backed favourite Fog Of War (11/4 into 7/4) was three lengths off them in third.
"It was a good workmanlike performance. He battled away and he stuck at it.
"They went pretty quick up front which helped us. It was a very true run maiden and he stayed on at the finish.
"We'll go for a handicap with him," said Weld in the aftermath. (GC & EM)
