Nakajima scores on chase debut
Nakajima Nate made a winning debut over fences when claiming the beginners chase at Tramore.
Mick Darcy produced his mount with a well-timed run to take it up at the second last.
Sabrina Harty 's charge pulled clear going to the last and despite getting in a bit close had plenty in hand to score by three lengths from Native Palm
The winner had attracted support from 13/2 this morning and was sent off a 4/1 shot on course.
"I was terrified with the ground being so quick," admitted Harty. "He's a big horse, 17 hands, but he handled it well.
"He jumped very well - he was like a handicapper. It's great for his owner Everina (Kilfeather), who bought him as a foal. He's been good for her. She's in Killarney on holidays at the moment."
