Myerscough scores with Bangalore Gold
Bangalore Gold justified favouritism when coming home in front of The Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) Maiden under Fran Berry for owners the Goldmine Racing Limited.
Winning trainer Dave Myerscough said afterwards, "He was unlucky not to win a maiden at Dundalk. It's the first time we've got decent ground for him and he finished like an aeroplane. He was second in Fairyhouse last Wednesday, I think the winner is a decent horse and we decided to take our chance today as you never know how long good ground will last in this country. We will probably go for a handicap next."
