My Direction defied a 5lb penalty for winning on Wednesday when following up in Tramore over a mile and a half this evening.
Ellmarie Holden 's horse won a mile and a half handicap in Gowran Park by a length and a half earlier in the week but prevailed by a short head this evening. Leigh Roche did the steering on both occasions.
The 11/10 favourite made good headway from third to lead between horses over half a mile from home.
He led into the home straight but Landsman was closing on his outside and really pressed him all the way to the line before just giving best. The runner-up was a 9/1 chance from an opening show of 14/1.
Ellmarie Holden said: "That was a great win. He was flying since last Wednesday at Gowran. There wasn't a bother on him so we had to let him off to do his thing.
"Leigh gave him some ride Wednesday and today, he was brilliant. I'd say we will give him a break now, leave him for two weeks or so and then make a plan."
