Mutineer toughs it out
Mutineer recorded his seventh career victory when once again showing great battling qualities to take the Bambury Bookmakers Dunshaughlin Handicap Chase. Mr Aussie looked set to secure a quick double for Francis Flood and jockey Mark Walsh when easing to the front before two out.
However the Dessie Hughes-trained grey rallied gamely for Paddy Flood to get back in front before the last, and stayed on best on the run-in to eventually win by five and a half lengths.
'He was hampered and lost his place when a horse jumped across him here last time,' said Hughes.
