Murtagh takes opener at Dundalk

Johnny Murtagh increased his lead over Pat Smullen for the Jockey’s Title after he landed the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Dundalk this evening.

Murtagh sent Aidan O’Brien’s colt to the front from over one furlong out and kept on well to hold off the challenges of An Saighdiur and Wit And Wisdom by three parts of a length.
