Murtagh on mark with Tradition
Tradition made it third time lucky when breaking his duck in the seven furlong maiden at Dundalk.
Johnny Murtagh always had the son of Footstepsinthesand to the fore and he kicked for home over a furlong out.
The 9/4 favourite kept on well in the closing stages to score by a length from Equus Ferus
"He's a nice horse and has come forward from every run," said trainer David Wachman by phone afterwards.
"He was probably unlucky in Listowel the last day when he dwelt at the start. He's going to be a better horse next year."
