Murtagh conjures late run from Beach
Treasure Beach got going late to grab victory in the nursery at Galway, giving Johnny Murtagh a quick double in the process.
The 5/4 favourite finished to good effect in the straight to grab the front-running Suntan close home for a three-parts-of-a-length success.
"He's a nice horse. He's still a bit green but was brave," said Murtagh. "He's a big immature horse and hopefully will get better next year."
Winning trainer Aidan O'Brien was not present.
