Trainer Eoin Doyle and seven pounds claimer Adam O'Neill combined to win the Simonstown Handicap Chase at Navan today with Davy From Milan giving the pair their first wins since last October.
Both Doyle and O'Neill had been out of luck since combining for a winner at Clonmel on October 30 but the pair hit the mark today with four time point-to-point winner Davy From Milan.
The eight year old son of Milan came to the rescue of bookmakers in the race, beating off the well backed 3/1 favourite and J.P. McManus owned Its The Ice I Like by a diminishing length and a half.
Doyle was recording his 11th winner of the season while O'Neill was notching his third of the campaign and a 17th career win.
