The Willie Mullins-trained pair Mikael D'Haguenet and Simenon are both non-runners at Fairyhouse this afternoon as the pair are lame.
Mikael D'Haguenet would have been a short-priced favourite for the 2m5f Nicky Connors - Lifetime In Racing Beginners Chase, and the way looks clear now for market rival Mount Benbulben
Simenon, successful twice at Royal Ascot in June, is also lame and is another significant non-runner in the two-mile Fairyhouse On Facebook Hurdle.
Other absentee's on the card are Theboss On Thehill (coughing) in the opening maiden hurdle, while Paddy The Stout (stone bruise) is also out of the 2m5f beginners chase.
Benevolent (bruised foot) does not run in the2m4f Ryan's Cleaning Services Handicap Hurdle.
The action at Fairyhouse gets underway at 12.10pm, and the going is soft (heavy in places). The weather looks set fair, with a lovely blue sky at present.
