The featured Kilbeggan End of Season Celebration September 6th Mares Novice Hurdle has attracted a competitive line-up today, with all seven runners having been successful over the smaller obstacles during the current campaign. Little Nugget rsquo;s Galway Festival second behind stablemate Foveros looks the standout form line, though, and she can score for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend at the expense of Sligo winner Caer and Wexford victor Boro Tari, who carries the famous silks of Dawn Run.
Mullins will be fancied to complete a double in the concluding Kilbeggan On Instagram INH Flat Race with the newcomer Blue Jacaranda but she might be foiled by Cork runner-up Barnet Brook who can step up a place for Ross O’Sullivan and Derek O’Connor. Top Moon was third in a strong Listed novice hurdle at Punchestown in February on his only start over obstacles to date, and will be hard to beat in the Hurley Family Maiden Hurdle for Joseph O’Brien and the recently-returned Mark Walsh.
Elsewhere on the card, there may be more cheer for the extended Mullins family, as Tom Mullins’ mare Tara Dylan can take the opening Summer Party Pack Discount Group Booking Maiden Hurdle in the hands of son David, while recent Tramore winner Josephina can follow up for Tony Mullins and Sean O’Keeffe in the Racing TV Handicap Hurdle. Visioman made a pleasing start over fences when a close third at Limerick last month and can take the Kilbeggan Races On Facebook Beginners Chase for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore, while the locally-trained Presentingprincess can go well for Dot Love and Darragh O’Keeffe in the Racingtv.com Handicap Chase.
