Champion Trainer Willie Mullins recorded a double at Limerick today when his Gigginstown House Stud owned Devil's Bride landed the Pricewaterhousecooper Rated Chase, under jockey Bryan Cooper.
The son of Helisio's task was simplified somewhat with the early exit of second favourite Bally Longford but in the end Devil's Bride stayed on well for a four and a half lengths win over Shadow Catcher
The winner was recording his third racecourse win and eight career success and afterwards Cooper stated "he'd fool you are you'd think he was half flat-out but when you set him aloght he comes alive again.
"He's been a great money-spinner this summer but won't act on winter ground. I imagine he could come back in the spring for the Festivals."
