The Willie Mullins trained Daisy's Gift under Paul Townend, justified 5/4 favouritism to win the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Mares Maiden Hurdle at Killarney today.
The daughter of Presenting arrived to lead between the final two flights before staying on well for a length and a half win over Give Her Bach
Mullins was represented by his son Patrick Mullins who later stated “she is a seven year old mare who has had her problems but has lots of ability and loves that ground.
“We'll look for a mares' winners of one now and hopefully she'll improve again. Her owner Nigel King, from Nottingham, has been very patient and flew over to see her today.”
