Mullins Completes Kilbeggan Treble
The black and white stripes of Mrs Ann Bish were carried to success for the second time on the programme when Red Hot Poker just prevailed from Celia's Express in the www.kilbegganraces.com Flat Race. Red Vinto had earlier scored for the owner and along with Otay Kawn it meant Willie Mullins completed a 96/1 treble on the day.
Patrick Mullins cruised into contention on Red Hot Poker and when sent about his business in the straight, the seven-year-old just once previously raced son of Emarati was soon in front. However at the finish he was all out to beat 33/1 outsider, Celia's Express by a short head.
