Mr Warbucks upsets favourites
Mr Warbucks a winning point-to-pointer, landed the opening Easyfix sponsored maiden hurdle at Galway on monday at odds of 20/1.
The Adrian Maguire trained 5-y-o was produced with a well-timed run by Barry Geraghty to collar long time leader Superior Ben after the last flight.
The odds-on favourite Corskeagh Royale held every chance when falling at the final hurdle.
Maguire said afterwards: 'he is a very nice horse and has the scope to do well over fences in time. he would prefer better ground.'
