Mr Bones lands gamble for Coogan

Jimmy Coogan’s Mr Bones landed a gamble (11/2-5/2) when winning the ‘Tote Trifecta Rollover’ Handicap Hurdle under a strong ride by Barry Cash.

Cash had the 5/2 favourite in front from the third last and the Trans Island gelding kept on well under a strong drive to hold off the late challenge of Quai Du Roi by a neck.

Winning trainer Coogan said afterwards: “That was great, he was unlucky when he fell the last day at Tipperary, I thought he’d win that day.”

“We’ll bring him to Galway for something now.”
