Mozetta was a beaten favourite on the polytrack last-time out, but made no mistake this evening as she was ridden out to score by Pat Smullen.
She was getting off the mark at the ninth time of asking. Smullen was content to track Saga Diamond but entering the home straight he asked his charge to go and tackle the leader. Inside the two pole she got her head in front.
She was driven out in the final furlong to hold Askmour (33/1) and Tennesse Waltz (9/2) in second and third respectively.
"She'd been knocking on the door for a while. It was a great ride from Pat. He got her out good and handy and she stays well," said Shay Barry.
"I'm delighted for the owners. They are breeders and it was important to get a maiden win. She stuck at it well and probably ideally wants a mile-and-a-half."
