Harry Kelly recorded his eighth win of the season as he took the bumper at Leopardstown this afternoon, the Donohue Marquees 4yo Flat Race, with newcomer Moyle Park
Sent off at 10/1 (was 16/1 this morning with Paddy Powers), the son of Flemensfirth tracked the leaders in fifth in the early stages before moving into third, four furlongs from home.
He was sent to the front by his rider Pa King as they entered the straight and he stayed on well a furlong and a half from home to win by four lengths at the line.
The Tony Martin trained Blackmail finished second at 11/2 under Robbie McNamara while Old Kilcash was a further length and a quarter back in third also at 11/2 under James Carroll for John Hanlon
Harry Kelly said afterwards: "We thought he would do that and it is super that he has. We didn’t come here for the good of our health!
"He was working extremely well. He was only bought in June at the Goffs Land Rover Sales (for €10,000). We think an awful lot of him. That was only his second time on grass.
"It is up to his owners now as to where he goes next. He could go for a winners bumper."
The dam of the winner, Lovely Present, was a decent horse for Tucker Geraghty and she won a point-to-point, two bumpers, two handicap chases and a handicap hurdle for him.
