Moville back in the winners enclosure
The Martin Brassil trained Moville was back to his winning ways after he landed the Kells Hurdle in the hands of Paddy Flood.
Moville who looked to be travelling well from before two out had to work hard to catch Der Spieler and Garrett Cotter but the pair battled all the way to the line with Flood just getting up on the line to win by a short head.
Winning trainer Brassil said afterwards: “He just flattened out from the last. He wants a real good gallop and he handles that ground.”
“It was nice to see him get his head in front. He’s entered in the Leopardstown Hurdle (formerly known as the Pierce Hurdle) and he’ll probably take his chance in that.”
