Mountain leads them home
Snow Mountain produced a gutsy front-running performance to claim the colts and geldings maiden at Limerick under Colm O'Donoghue. Sydney Harbour (1/2f) was something of a hotpot but the winner also attracted support from 11/2 into 3/1.
Aidan O'Brien 's charge had his rivals in trouble over a furlong from home and kept on well in the closing stages to post a half-length victory.
Sydney Harbour, the mount of Johnny Murtagh, got going too late, eventually staying on to pip Free Art for second on the line.
"He had the experince of two runs and got it easy in front," said O'Donoghue.
"He's a tall horse and is still growing but he is improving all the time."
